I have been power walking a mile using 2 pound weights, and I have incorporated some kicking, and knee lifts while doing the mile, but I have recently gotten an exercise bike and have been doing a few miles on that. My question is which exercise is more effective for long-term weight loss, and toning?
The weights in combo with the cardio. Mucle burns 8 times more calories than fat.
So, the power walk plus weights will help you more than the stationary bike, unless you pedal like Lance Armstrong.

I want to drop 10-15 lbs, and I am looking for something that is an affordable supplement that will help me lose the weight quickly. Anything that requires minimal exercise would be ideal. I try to eat healthy and try to eat less, but it never seems to give me any kind of results.
I also don't want to use anything like SlimQuick or Hydroxycut…none of that, because I know that you will gain the weight back twice as bad once you stop taking it.
I totally know where you're coming from - before I lost weight, I tried Hydroxycut and it made me really dizzy and gave me these awful headaches. I suppose that's how you lose weight with it - you feel too sick to eat

And eating right and exercising have their place, but I never really got the results I wanted with them alone. Like I'd drop a bunch of weight at first, but then I'd plateau and not lose another pound - even if I was starving myself and going to the gym everyday! I really need some help and motivation. I gained a lot of weight with my last pregnancy. I am now at about 330. I am really in need of a good weight loss plan that is quick and effective. I mean obviously I am not going to lose this over night but I need to lose more than 1-2 lbs a week to stay motivated. I need to do this!! Any Suggestions?
you need to realise that you cant do anything drastic like only eat once a day coz you know if you do something drastic you'll put it all back on.
eating healthy, with one carb based meal a day, eating 5-6 small meals a day and at least an hour of cardio 5-6 times a week you will and can lose the weight.

I am a 24 year old male, 5'10 tall, 205 lbs heavy.. looking to lose around 20 lbs.. what is the most ideal way to go about doing it? the traditional 5-6 days of weight training or 3-5 days of intense cardio (45-75 mins per session) from activities like aerobics and resistance spinning? Please help
Well if your looking to lose weight I would combine a program of both resistance training and cardio. Resistance training will help reduce muscle loss when your losing weight. During the first 30 minutes of exercise what your body is using are quick stored energy that it has from foods it ate recently. Afterwards then it begins to metabolizing the fat on your body and this is where cardio comes in. It burns a superior amount of calories compared to weight training.

I'm looking to add a little hype to my regular workout and diet. I alternate between lifting and running every other morning. I'm trying to loose weight relatively fast for my wedding in July. I currently am not seeing the results that I would like and am getting discouraged.
no such thing. if there was no-one would have a problem with their weight. swap your routine about your body has probably got used to a certain diet and a regular exercise routine. take a week off and start again.
